Charity Gift Aid Declaration

Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the Anglo-Austrian Society (AAS) will receive an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs, helping your donation to go further. To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the AAS will reclaim in the tax year on your behalf. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment tax return. If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief look at the Gift Aid information on the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) website: www.hmrc.gov.uk, or query this directly with HMRC.
