At the AGM, in additional to the formal business, we usually hear from some of our grant holders. At the AGM in 2026 there will be presentations from Pia Regensburger and from Coline Atterbury and her colleagues.
In autumn 2025 Pia Regensburger became the next holder of the Society’s Angela Krosik Doctoral Award. Pia, who is a student at Oriel College, University of Oxford, in the Faculty of Theology, will give an overview of her doctoral work, which focuses on the topic of the divine name in ancient Judaism and seeks to build bridges between biblical studies, Jewish studies and contemporary philosophy. She will also tell us about her experience as an Austrian student in the UK.
Coline, an Anglo-Austrian actor and filmmaker, will be joined by her colleagues Gráinne Dromgoole, the writer and lead actor of Dayenu, and the producers of the film, Hannah Collins and Laura Henckel. Together, they have been working on the short film Dayenu, set in Tyrol. The Otto Harpner Fund helped bring the project to life and contributed to the production budget. In their presentation, the team will offer insights into the creative process behind the film, its themes and setting, and the realities of bringing an independent production to life in the Tyrolean landscape.
